Don't Ruffle My Feathers -- for QKR Stampede

FRIDAY!!  It means many things, but it always means it's time for a new challenge at QKR Stampede Challenge Blog.  Challenges are Anything Goes with an optional theme.  This week's theme is:  "Down on the Farm."  QKR Stampede and their sister company, Eureka Stamps have many great farm images to use for this challenge!

Here's my farm-themed card:

You gotta love Mama chicken!  She's got attitude!  She's a Eureka Stamp digi called Mother Chicken (ES-digi8701). I colored her and her chick with Copic markers, then used some Lawn Fawn dies to cut them out.  The tractor paper was found at Pixel Scrapper.  The sentiment, a QKR Stampede digi, (Ruffle Feathers Q-digi15103) was cut out using a Paper Wishes die.

I hope you can join us this week for our optional themed 'Down on the Farm' challenge at QKR Stampede.  We have great prizes, and I'd love to see what you make!

Froggy Love -- for Imagine That! Digistamp

Woohoo!  Thursday!  This week is clicking right along!  It's time for some Thursday inspiration over on the Imagine That! Digistamp blog.  I spent some time last weekend playing with an adorable freebie, and some fun papers that match it.  I created a tag for today's inspirational post.  My husband loves frogs, so this one's for him!

(freebie!)

I colored the frog using Copic markers, then fussy cut it out.  The pocket was pre-colored.  I thought I'd use it because I liked it just the way it was!  The Frog in My Pocket papers match so perfectly!   This was all so fun to put together!

I hope you find time to join the challenge this month over at the Imagine That! Creative Playground. You have until August 4.  If you use ANY Imagine That! Digistamp set, you can get a set for free.  This month's featured set is the Baby Mermaid:

Join us at the Imagine That! Digistamp Facebook Group, too. You'll find even more inspiration, fun, news, and friendship there.

Believe in Tomorrow -- for Bloom Arts Stamps

Hello, hello!  I'm posting today for Bloom Arts Stamps, using one of their amazing clear acrylic stamps.  You can do soooo many things with this one stamp set!  I'm in love!

The stamp set is from the Bloom Arts Wreath Season's Collection (LG-015).

I used a small portion of the wreath to create this:

I stamped the "summer" portion of the wreath in each corner of my panel, then used distress inks.  The sentiment is from Unity stamp company.  The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.

Here's a look at the whole stamp set so you can see how versatile it is:

Check out the Bloom Arts Stamps blog for more great inspiration using clear and digital stamps.  You'll find us on Instagram at: @bloomartstamps

Friends for Life! and QKR Stampede

Woohoo!  It's Friday!  I do like my Fridays!  It means it's time for another challenge at QKR Stampede.  The challenges have an optional theme, or you can enter 'anything goes'.  This week's optional theme is "Up, Up & Away".

QKR Stampede has the most adorable animal stamps.  See what I mean?

Aw, so sweet!

I used 2 QKR Stampede digis on this card -- Q-digi6805 Bunny & Butterfly, colored with watercolor pencils, then fussy cut, and Q-digi1704 Friends Bring Memories.

I hope you enter our 'Up, up and Away' challenge this week at QKR Stampede.  Remember, it can be 'Anything Goes'.

Sunflower Mini Gram -- for Pickled Potpourri

Hello, everyone!  I hope you are finding time to enjoy the summer. We've had a cool, rainy summer, but the flowers are beautiful!  Just like the flowers on this Sunflower Mini Gram from Pickled Potpourri Designs.

I printed the Sunflower Mini Gram on yellow paper, then used color pencils to color the designs on it.

Here, I'm just getting started:

I love sunflowers, so this was very fun for me to color up!
All I need to do is write message on the other side, fold it in 3rds, seal the Sunflower Mini Gram, and it's done!
Pickled Potpourri has so many fun designs in their store, at very reasonable prices.  Please check it out for yourself!  Do you prefer rubber stamps?  Check out Red Rubber Designs instead.

Big Faith! for The Cutting Cafe

Hello, fellow crafters.  I'm posting today for The Cutting Cafe.  The design team this time, is featuring Silhouettes.  You'll find a variety of silhouettes used in many different ways.  The Silhouette Digital Stamp set & Cutting File is found here.

There are many fun images in the file, but I decided to use a silhouette as a background to create this:

The sentiment is from a custom set I purchased at The Cutting Cafe Shop.  I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder onto the black silhouette

The cancer-themed background paper on this card is from Imagine That! Digistamp. The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM and the button is from my stash.

Please visit the Cutting Cafe blog on or after July 21 to see the rest of the Silhouette creations from the design team.  Leave a comment and you could win 3 sets of your choice.  Always visit the Cutting Cafe - Be Inspired Facebook Group for more fun, news, and inspiration.

Sunflower Sneak Peek

Hello, and happy Tuesday!  I'm on the Pickled Potpourri blog today with a Sunflower Mini Gram.  I'd love it if you'd check it out and leave a comment.

Here's a sneak peek of it all:

For My Friend -- and Crafty Sentiments Designs

Happy Tuesday, everyone!  It's time for a new challenge at Crafty Sentiments Challenge Blog. This week, you have a choice in themes.  Either go CAS or Fussy & Fancy with your project.

I used the Crafty  Sentiments Designs rubber stamp, 'This Rose' to create this for the challenge, going for the Fussy & Fancy theme:

I colored the rubber stamp, This Rose, with Copic markers, then used a Die-namics stitched die to cut it out.  The background paper is from Paper Wishes.  The card base was cut out on my Silhouette Cameo, using an SVG file from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons.  I layered up a couple of different laces from my stash to match the paper.

I hope you can join us this week at Crafty Sentiments Challenge for our CAS or Fussy & Fancy Challenge.

This card uses stamps from QKR Stampede's sister company, Eureka Stamps -- Shell Border (ES-digi28902) and I'm Praying For You (ES-digi13107).

I used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks on the Shell Border stamp.  The designer papers on this card are from MHKDesigns.

Shakin' the Halls this Christmas -- for MHKDesigns

Happy Thursday, crafty friends!  I'm on the MHKDesigns blog today where there's a Christmas in July theme going on.  I'm shaking things up a bit with a shaker card!

I always think they are so fun!

I used MHKDesigns Deck The Halls digital stamp set for the holly and the sentiment.  The papers, also from MHKDesigns, are Simply Seasonal Digital Papers

Have you entered this month's MHKDesigns challenge yet?  It's anything goes, as long as you use an MHKDesigns image.  We're not quite 1/2 way through the month, so there's still plenty of time.  Check out the MHKDesigners & Friends Facebook Group, too, for even more inspiration. #mhkdesigns is now on Instagram, too!

Dear Friend -- for QKR Stampede

It's Friday, and time for a new challenge at QKR Stampede challenge blog.  I'm traveling across the state to a friend's house today, and this card is making the trip with me, along with a hostess gift.  It works great for the Anything Goes challenge this week at QKR Stampede.

This card uses a digital stamp from the sister company, Eureka Stamps. It's Dear Friend (Es-digi56501), colored with Comic markers, then fussy cut, framed with black card stock, then put on a another piece of card stock.  It was a quick color and a quick-to-assemble card, but a gorgeous image! Eureka Stamps has a number of these, and I reach for them often.

I hope you join our "anything goes" challenge this week at QKR Stampede.  We have great prizes, and I'd love to see what you make!

Birthday Clematis -- for Bloom Arts Stamps

Flowers, nature, birds, bugs.  Bloom Arts Stamps is everything I love in stamps -- both clear acrylic and digital -- so when I saw their DT call at Splitcoast Stampers, I reached out to Lisa, and here's my first post!

I tried something new, for me, on this digital stamp, Clematis Vine.

I used Spectrum Noir Aqua Blend pencils on this Clematis Vine digital stamp, then used a shimmer brush to blend with instead of a water brush or paint brush.  It's difficult to see in a picture, but IRL, it's very sparkly, especially on the flower petals.  I really like the effect, and I'll definitely do it again!

Bloom Art Stamps has some amazing stamps that you really need to check out.  The design team is growing, so you'll be able to find more inspiration over on Splitcoast Stampers (Bloom Art Stamps has a gallery there), on the Bloom Arts Stamps blog, and there's a Bloom Arts Stamps Etsy Store. You can find the Clematis Vine stamp here in the Bloom Arts Etsy Store

Happy Birthday Pop Up Flowers -- for The Cutting Cafe

I have a birthday card to show you today, which works out perfectly, as today is my birthday!  I also have several good friends with birthdays this month, so one of them will get this awesome card made from a cutting file found at The Cutting Cafe.

I was a bit nervous about trying it, but it's very easy to make, especially once I watched the video on how to assemble it found here.

First, the outside of the card:

There's no Cutting Cafe files here, just digital papers found at Snap Click Supplies.  The rest is from Paper Wishes.

Now, for the inside.  Ready?

Woohoo!  Isn't that awesome?!?  I love how that flower pops right out!  It's the Flower Pop Up Card, for sure!

Here's another view of it:

Definitely a Flower Pop Up!

This week at The Cutting Cafe, we're all using the Flower Pop Up card.  Visit the blog to see what everyone did with it.  You'll be amazed! Leave a comment and you could win 3 sets of your choice!

So Sweet! -- for Crafty Sentiments Designs

Happy Tuesday, everyone.  It's time for a new challenge at Crafty Sentiments Challenge Blog, and this is also New Release week, with this being the start of the New Releases!  You'll find great inspiration at Crafty Sentiments Inspirations today-Friday, with the New Releases for sale at Crafty Sentiments Designs starting Saturday, July 8.

This week's challenge at Crafty Sentiments Blog is a favorite -- Anything Goes! I used the New Release rubber stamp, Ice Pops to create this:

I colored 'So Sweet' rubber stamp with Copic markers, then used 2 dies from Top Dog dies to cut it out and layer it on the card base.  I found the popsicle paper -- it's digital -- at Pixel Scrapper.  The sentiments is from Spellbinders.   The card stock and glimmer trim are from Close To My Heart.

I hope you check out all the new releases this week, and join in on our Anything Goes challenge at Crafty Sentiments Challenge Blog!

Merry Christmas, Deer! -- for the 12 Months of Christmas

Another month, another Christmas card!  It's the first of the month, so it's time for another challenge at The 12 Months of Christmas Link Up. The optional theme this month is "Oh, deer!"  Break out your deer and reindeer for a chance at the prizes by Bugaboo Stamps!

I used the lovely Bugaboo Stamps Reindeer Silhouette and Oh Deer papers by Decosse's Dynamite Doodles to create this:

I tend to keep my Christmas cards flat for easy mailing, and I did that with this one.  No need to add bulk and extra postage!

I hope you can join us this month.  Enter any Christmas card you'd like, but follow the optional theme to be eligible to win the prize from Bugaboo Stamps.  Enter 2 cards this month, and you'll be eligible for the papers from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles

What a Wonderful World! -- for MHKDesigns Challenge

It's July 1st, so that means it's time for a new challenge on the MHKDesigns blog.  The challenge runs for a month, and it's Anything Goes, if you use an MHKDesigns image.  There's an inspiration picture if you don't use an MHKDesigns image.  I'll post it at the bottom.

This card, made for the MHKDesigns challenge, uses Beginnings & Endings (the apple and twig), Beautiful Bottles (sentiment), and Country Farm papers, all found in the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop

The apple and twig were colored with Copic markers.  The border on the side was cut with a die from Anna Griffin. Circle dies are by Lifestyle Crafts.

Here's the inspiration photo for you, if you'd like it.

I hope you can join us this month at MHKDesigns.  I'd love to see what you make!
