With Sympathy

I'm heading to the funeral home in a few minutes.  One of my co-workers lost her brother.  It was no surprise.  He got 5 extra years no one thought he would get out of this world, but it's still hard to adjust to life without that loved one.  I plan to go pay my respects, share some love and laughs, and do what I can to ease the burden.  That's how friends help each other get through life's events.

The Outlawz Progressive Challenge has the perfect image this month for a sympathy card.  Well, it's a very versatile image that could be used for many occasions.  Under the circumstances, I chose sympathy. This month's free image is from Sandi's Samples

I colored the rose image with Copic markers, then used different Spellbinders oval dies to cut it out.  The sentiment is from Craftin' Desert Divas.  The shaped card cutting file is from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.   Papers on this card were found at Pixel Scrapper.   The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Outlawz Progressive Freebie Monthly challenge -- January
613 Avenue Create -- optional CAS
D.L. Art -- January linky party
Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog -- ATG
Not Just Cards -- ATG
